At the Anchor Inn they pride themselves on their high quality home-cooked food, which is prepared using the best that Somerset has to offer. With a lounge bar that is warm and very traditional with beams and a feature dual-facing open fire, this is where you can sit and enjoy a pint of one of the well-kept local ales or ciders and take pleasure in a snack. Or you can indulge in a meal in the bright and airy dining room with its solid oak floor and large skylights; this is where the Anchor Inn showcases its home-cooked food with dishes like Faggots and Mash to the more refined dishes such as slow roasted Belly Pork. Attached to the dining room there is a large and well-used function room that is ideal for larger parties and events of up to 90 guests. Outdoors there is an orchard beer garden, a sun terrace and paddock used for family games that can be borrowed from the pub.
