SOMERZEST
27th - 28th August 2010

The Octagon Theatre in Yeovil is set to become the venue for a new type of attraction later this year as a brand new series of festival-style events for Somerset are announced.
South Somerset District Council is announcing the new venture – named SomerZest - which is set to bring local quality crafts people, food producers, music and market stalls together for regular events beginning in August.

The first event on August 27-28 will include music, dance, an outdoor hog roast and a programme of demonstrations, including one from Ben Horrobin who is a well-known local artist blacksmith.

This is really good news for Yeovil.
